Maeltuile Cross
The inspiration for this cross was taken from a fragment of decorated tombstone in the Clonmacnois Cemetery in Clonmacnois, Ireland. From a small inscription on the fragment, it can be dated to the late 9th century. The beautiful spiral patterns form the central feature of this design.
Due to the hand casting and proprietary staining process, each cross is unique and comes with a hanger embedded in the stone. Each also comes with a descriptive tag detailing the original stone, explanation of the design, or information describing from where the cross came.
